In September 2014, a small group of us, including Nehemiah, our wives, and another businesswoman, found ourselves in Chicago as part of an international delegate for the FCCI pre-conference tour. There, we encountered a powerful story of transformation that had an incredible impact on the local community. The source of this transformation was a unique kingdom-based business school that was raising up kingdom-minded entrepreneurs.
This encounter resonated deeply with our team of five. The biblical command to “enlarge our influence and not hold back” stirred within us a desire to bring about similar change in Malaysia. By the end of our two-week trip, God had planted a vision in our hearts—a vision for marketplace transformation in our own country.
Since then, we have witnessed God move in miraculous ways. He has brought together our founding team, provided us with a 2,000 sq ft facility, and blessed us with a Christian Entrepreneurship Program. Most importantly, He touched our hearts and the hearts of others, leading us to invest in this vision.
This vision gave birth to The Encubator, a platform dedicated to fulfilling our dream of marketplace transformation through the multiplication of biblical entrepreneurs. We aim to nurture businesses that meet the quadruple bottom lines of financial, social, environmental, and spiritual impact. We envision a future where hundreds, even thousands, of Kingdom businesses will transform the marketplace, shifting the culture from corruption to one of integrity and honoring God.
With a sense of urgency, we asked ourselves, “If not us, then who? If not now, then when?” Each of us answered this call with a deep desire to be faithful stewards of the vision God has given us.

Ir. Dr. Nehemiah Lee
Chairman of The Encubator
Nehemiah started his business due to God’s calling and wishes to be the change agent in the industry. Today, his company has become the market leader, overtaking a multinational company and has ventured into the global market, exporting its ‘Reinforced Soil’ technology to Singapore, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Indonesia and India.
Dr. Lim Kah Hooi
CEO of The Encubator
Kah Hooi has been a professional coach for CEOs and business owners for the past 27 years. Prior to this, he spent 18 years working with big multinationals in Malaysia. He has held positions in senior management including the role of General Manager and Managing Director.
He currently serves as the CEO at The Encubator as well as the Principal Chair for C12 Groups in Malaysia and Singapore.
Joey Teh
COO of The Encubator
Joey is the Managing Director of a boutique Premier Regional HR Consulting Company that was established since 1998. He works very closely with senior leadership of his client companies and specializes in developing talents from his huge network of middle to senior management level in order to identify and promote tomorrow’s leaders to any growing enterprise seeking to expand locally and regionally.
Peggy Lim
Peggy has worked at various US multinationals in different functional areas and has trained/consulted with different SMEs in the area of Leadership and HR Development.
Peggy has a passion to see women attain work-life balance, and believes in multi-generational mentoring. Peggy partners with her husband Kah Hooi in life, work & ministry.
Elijah Ee
Elijah is a serial entrepreneur, his passion in education ultimately leading him to start the REAL education group as a co-founder. After successfully growing and nurturing the business, it was disposed of recently to a private equity fund.
Elijah is still active in an advisory and oversight capacity in many of the companies he has started. He is passionate about sharing his wide business experience and providing guidance to others in their entrepreneurial endeavors.
Raymond Yap
Raymond has 30 years business experience and was the global CEO of an MNC.He served as chairman of OM Malaysia for 15 years and is the co-founder of Business for Transformation (B4T.org), an international initiative to mobilize business professionals into mission by using business solutions to address the economic, social, environmental and spiritual needs of poor communities.
Ps. Dr. Philip Lyn
Spiritual Advisor
Ps Philip Lyn is a bi-vocational pastor and founder of Skyline Church, a vibrant and growing city-church whose large pastoral team is made up uniquely of bi-vocational pastors.
He has a passion to bring God’s Kingdom into the workplace and has equipped Christians across many nations to engage, influence and transform their places of work.
